This sample is made of bark cloth. A particularly solid fabric that is very opaque and has no movement due to the lack of warp and weft. It does have its own character, but lacks something of a woven cloth.

I feel I have been away from my blog for sometime as I have spent a holiday in Ireland.  A move to a new studio is to take place in the next few weeks so I am forced to pack up my work and catalogue the items to date; photographing them as I goMy next space isn’t so big and I have to be really organised as to what I put up on the wall to work from.  It needs to be very well thought out before I begin.
